Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
GetSwapped lets you put yourself into videos and images with AI. That is powerful, and it can be misused. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do with the Service. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and it applies to everything you upload, generate, or share using GetSwapped.
1. Consent comes first
You may only swap your own face, or the face of someone who has given you explicit, informed permission to use their likeness for the content you are creating. “Explicit permission” means the person knows what kind of content you are making and has agreed to it, and you can show us that consent if we ask. Permission to use someone’s photo is not permission to put their face into a video. Every person whose face you upload must be at least 18 years old. You must also have the right to use any video or image you upload as a target scene.
2. Prohibited content
You may not upload, generate, or share content that:
- Is sexual or intimate in any way. This includes nudity, sexually explicit or suggestive content, and any non-consensual intimate imagery (“deepfake porn”) — regardless of whether the person depicted consented.
- Involves minors in any context. You may not upload images or videos of anyone under 18, or generate content that depicts or appears to depict a minor. Any content that sexualizes minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.
- Harasses, bullies, or humiliates any person, including content designed to mock, shame, intimidate, or threaten someone.
- Is defamatory or falsely portrays a real person saying or doing something they did not say or do in a way that could harm their reputation.
- Impersonates someone for fraud or scams, including identity theft, fake endorsements, romance or investment scams, social engineering, or attempts to bypass identity verification or “know your customer” checks.
- Deceives people about political or civic matters, including election misinformation, fake statements by candidates or officials, content designed to suppress voting, and synthetic “news” footage.
- Promotes hate or attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, disability, or serious disease.
- Depicts or incites violence, including graphic violence, self-harm, terrorism, or violent extremism.
- Infringes intellectual property, such as copyrighted films, shows, music videos, or other footage you do not have the right to use, or another party’s trademarks.
- Uses public figures’ likeness deceptively. You may not use the face of a celebrity, politician, or other public figure without their permission, and you may never use it in a way that could lead people to believe the content is real or that the person endorses a product, service, or viewpoint.
- Is otherwise illegal or facilitates illegal activity, or violates anyone’s privacy or rights of publicity.
3. Label AI-generated content
Content made with GetSwapped is synthetic. When you share Outputs publicly, label them clearly as AI-generated or edited (for example, with a caption or the platform’s AI-content label), and follow the rules of the platform where you post. Do not present an Output as genuine footage, and do not remove or obscure any watermark or metadata we add to identify content as AI-generated.
4. Protecting the Service
You also may not:
- try to bypass our content filters, safety checks, usage limits, or watermarks, including by splitting a prohibited request into parts;
- use another person’s account, create multiple accounts to evade enforcement, or share your account;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service, or access it by automated means other than interfaces we provide; or
- use the Service to build a competing product or a dataset for training AI models.
5. How we enforce this policy
We may use automated tools and human review to detect content and activity that violate this policy, and we may block uploads or generations that appear to violate it. If we find a violation, we may, depending on its severity:
- remove the content and block the request;
- issue a warning;
- suspend or permanently terminate your account;
- forfeit remaining credits and deny refunds for accounts terminated for violations; and
- report the activity to law enforcement or other authorities where appropriate. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other authorities as required by law, and we preserve related information as legally required.
Serious violations, including any content involving minors or non-consensual intimate imagery, result in immediate and permanent termination without warning.
6. Report abuse
If you believe content was created with GetSwapped in violation of this policy — especially if your own face was used without your consent — please tell us right away. Email getswapped.com@gmail.com. Include a link to or description of the content, where you saw it, and how to contact you. Reports involving non-consensual content or minors are prioritized and handled as quickly as possible. If content shows you without your consent, you can email either address with a link or description, your contact details, and a statement that you did not consent; no sworn statement is needed, and we remove non-consensual intimate content within 48 hours of a valid report. You do not need a GetSwapped account to submit a report.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service and the law evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
